Faith, Hope, Love

At 110 Pontardulais Road in Gorseinon, we have been blessed to celebrate 100 years of a hall on our site. As part of our celebrations we reflected on, and gave thanks for, the people that have come and gone, and the times we have spent together; many people over generations, all sharing the same faith and hope in our creator God who doesn’t change.

Importantly we share love for each other as we try to reflect the wonderful love shown first to us by our heavenly father, and his son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 15:13 says “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

We try to reflect this love in our support and care for others as we try to grow more like the perfect example set by our Lord Jesus.

We are so thankful for the love shown to us and the promise of God’s kingdom to come on the earth. There are so many troubles and suffering in the world, but we are comforted and encouraged by our hope.

If you would like to learn more about our faith, hope and love please contact us, or come along to our hall. We have an adult Sunday school discussion class on Sundays at 2pm – the same time as Sunday school for youngsters aged 3+ (term-time only).

We also have a Bible study class on a Wednesday evening at 7.30pm. Our memorial meeting, when we meet to remember the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus, is at 3.30pm on Sunday afternoons.

You are very welcome to come along, you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to chat and ask questions.
